Request for non gov.au Domain Name

Under the Australian Government Domain Name Policy, Australian Government agencies under the Financial Management and Accountability (FMA) Act must utilise a gov.au domain name to support their website/s unless granted exemption by Australian Government Chief Information Officer.

If you wish to seek an exemption to utilise a non gov.au domain name for a new website please submit a request via form below.

If your agency held a non gov.au domain name licence as at 5 January 2010, please advise via Notification of existing non gov.au Domain Names form.
